  3. In the Southern Colonies, The land was nice. It was flat & The soil was rich. The Southern Colonies owned the best Land of the three colonies. So that was an advantage, they grew many crops such as tobacco, sugar can, ect. & yet the climate was extremely hot. They had the hottest weather of the three colonies. Because of this factor they didn't have to worry about surviving through the cold winters. But this was also a disadvantage. The warm moist air, carried diseases which killed the colonist.

  5. The southern Colonies had a warm climate so they didn't care about freezing in the winter or the crops freezing. They were worried about catching diseases that was carried by the warm climate. They had rich and fertile soil so it was perfect for farming. The southern Colonies were broad coastal plains and hilly forest areas

  7. The Southern Colonies had long, hot summers. But since the summers were so warm the air carried diseases. The winters were mild and short, so the English didn't have to worry about surviving the cold winters. The land in the Southern Colonies were mostly crops. They grew corn, sugar cane, indigo, cotton, wheat, peaches, tobacco, and rice. Since the summers were long, they had better crops but just a little tough time keeping them hydrated.

  8. The southern colonies had warm climates and a nice amount of rain so they had decent places for farming (Rich and Fertile soil). The land was kinda flat had mountains and hills and uneven land. had lots of trees that took the water from the ground so that the crops took longer to grow around trees

  12. The Northern colonies have longer winters than the southern colonies and is way colder than the Southern colonies. Also have more hills so the Northern colonies have worse farming than the Southern colonies. Seth Mangus, and Drew Daulton
