The land was very rocky but the colonist were able to grow a few crops in order to get by. The winters were cold and harsh in comparison to the summers which were short hot periods of time. In the Fall was probaly the best times for the colonist who lived in the New England Colonies. I imagine they would have beautiful scenery looking at the leaves change colors.

Since they didnt have very long summers or falls or springs they didnt have very much farming time so they took farming really seriously... They basicly had onlyone season of farming, plus there land was very hilly and the soil was very rocky, witch called for less farming !

the middle colonies was very different from the other colonies like new england. the middle colonies had low 80 degree weather and had high 90 degree weather. now the winter was also very different than the england colonies the winter. the winter has not bad at all the middle colonies only got close to 2 in every winter. We did not have many snow blizzards only maybe once every 3 years the middle colonies was very different.
